Gmail App Password Setup Guide

Google requires an App Password to allow automated bots to send emails securely through team.epz01@gmail.com.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Log in to Google Account settings for team.epz01@gmail.com at myaccount.google.com/security.
  2. Ensure 2-Step Verification is enabled on your account.
  3. In the search bar at the top of Google Account, type App passwords and click it.
  4. Enter App Name: TM EPZ Bot and click Create.
  5. Google will display a 16-character password (e.g. abcd efgh ijkl mnop).
  6. Copy and paste that 16-character code into the App Password box on the left and click Save Credentials!
Once saved, your dashboard will automatically use live Gmail SMTP to send all customer license emails!
